First and foremost, our thoughts and prayers go out to each and every person and family who have been impacted by Hurricane Helene. We absolutely wish there was a way that we could help every single individual that has been impacted.
As many of you know, we participate in the Steinhatchee Fiddler Crab Festival in Steinhatchee Florida every February. What you may not know, is that this was one of the very first events we ever participated in, and it was the event that lead us to believe, we might actually be able to make something out of Get Reel. The people and the town of Steinhatchee have been so good to us over the years. We have made lifelong memories and lifelong friends in the town of Steinhatchee, and it will always hold a place very near and dear to us in our hearts. We have been trying to think of a way that we could help them, and give back to them in their time of need.
We have decided the best way we might be able to help, is to do an online raffle of some of our products. We are going to raffle our Florida Flag Redfish Hats. We have been in contact with members of the local community, and we are still trying to determine what would be the best way to get the funds to them, that would help the community the most, and we will update that as we go.
(UPDATE, all proceeds will go to food trucks set up in Steinhatchee, to cover the cost of as many meals for the local community as possible.)
For every 10 tickets purchased, one winner will be randomly chosen to receive one of our Florida Flag Redfish Patch hats. Entries will be put into a spread sheet in order that they are received, and we will do a video using Googles random number generator to choose the winners. The raffle will be live through October 13th and then we will get the proceeds to the Steinhatchee community during the week of October 14th, and the winners will be chosen then as well. Please make sure to include your email address and cell number at checkout so we are able to get in contact with you if you are a winner.
If you are able to find it in your heart to help this small town, please consider purchasing as many raffle tickets as you are able. Every amount helps. Please help us get this out by telling everyone you know. Post it on facebook, instagram, whatever form of social media you can.
